**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with implementing specialized and modified learning activities to provide a positive learning experience for students with diverse needs.
  • Work with designated students individually or in small groups to provide academic assistance and support.
  • Collaborate with Classroom Teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the required level of attention and care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, families, and community members to provide support services and promote student success.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as child development, disabilities, and inclusive schooling philosophies.

**Requirements**

  • High School/Secondary School diploma and related experience in an educational environment.
  • Knowledge of child development, disabilities, and inclusive schooling philosophies.
  • Ability to provide instruction in core academic subjects and develop individualized learning plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and community members.
