We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the activities of our team, including assisting patients, patient transfers, and computer radiographic information data entry.
This is a long-assignment full-time position, requiring approximately 24 months of commitment. You will work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, and will be based out of the Bayer's Lake Community Outpatient Centre, with occasional rotations to the Halifax Infirmary and Victoria General.
About You- You possess a Grade 12 or equivalent education and have one year of knowledge of computer systems regarding entering, updating, and retrieving patient information.
- You are able to set priorities, work effectively in a team environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Diagnostic Imaging is an asset, but not required.
- You are proficient in English and have strong communication skills.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $23.37 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
