Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for operating radiological and accessory equipment, performing radiological procedures for medical diagnosis, and handling customer-related clerical duties.
This role requires a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology, Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure.
About YouWe are looking for someone with angiography experience, CAMRT Interventional Radiology courses, and knowledge of Interventional Radiology Procedures.
The ideal candidate should have a high degree of mental and visual acuity, reasonable manual dexterity, and the ability to work as a team and independently.
Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, recognize, respect, and maintain patients' confidentiality, and possess competencies in other languages, preferably French.
Working ConditionsThis is a short-assignment, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly, approximately 6 months, and shifts are 7.5 and 10 hour shifts with callback evenings, nights, and weekends.
Compensation and BenefitsThe hourly wage is $34.24 - $39.96, and the position is eligible for our Employee Referral Program.
