Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. This role will involve operating ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images, analyzing patients during treatments, and preparing examination reports for physicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record diagnostic images of patients;
  • Analyze patients during treatments to identify potential issues;
  • Prepare detailed examination reports for physicians to inform treatment decisions;
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as medical imaging or a related discipline;
  • Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration and Certification by a provincial or territorial association;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands;

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, vision care benefits, and a pension plan.

About the Job:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a hospital/medical facility setting, willing to relocate for this position. Experience an asset. Langue de travail: Anglais.
