Job Overview

The Director of Strategic Planning and Engagement will lead the development and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives and projects that align with St.Amant's long-term objectives. This role is essential for driving innovation, optimizing internal operations, fostering community engagement, and enhancing external partnerships.

The successful candidate will oversee cross-functional projects, partnerships, and programs, ensuring alignment with St.Amant's Strategic Plan and consistent communication across departments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives that support the organization's goals.
  • Project Management: Oversee Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure effective delivery of initiatives and implement project management frameworks and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment, and develop and maintain partnerships with government agencies, industry leaders, and community organizations.

The Director will also lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team that drives the successful execution of strategic initiatives and engagement.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • PMP certification.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, preferably in the disability, health, or social services field.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex high-impact projects.
  • Experience working with senior leadership, government agencies, and external partners.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
