Job Overview

Purdys Chocolatier is a leading Canadian chocolatier with a rich history and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing and Sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to engage with our target audience and promote our brand.
  • Create high-quality social media content, including written posts, graphics, and videos, to showcase our products and services.
  • Manage and schedule social media content using social media scheduling and reporting software.
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and merchandising team to develop and execute seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a social media role, preferably in a marketing or communications field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar and spelling.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Experience with social media scheduling and reporting software, such as Sprout.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
