Job Title: Social Media Content Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Social Media Content Coordinator will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging social media content to drive growth and engagement across the Vancouver Warriors digital channels. This role will cover day-to-day coverage of the team's activities, including photo, written, and hosted video content across all social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media content strategy to drive engagement and growth
  • Create and publish high-quality social media content, including photos, videos, and written posts
  • Cover and report on all Vancouver Warriors games and events
  • Host on-camera content, including player and coach interviews, community visits, and partnership obligations
  • Manage the social media and content calendars for the Vancouver Warriors
  • Provide regular reports with insight and analysis on performance and growth strategy

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as Marketing, Communications, or Journalism
  • At least 1-2 years of related work experience in social media and/or communications
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Creative thinker and ability to read and react to situations
  • General understanding of website CMS systems
  • Experience with Photoshop and familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite programs
