Job Summary

The Mondelēz International team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Marketing Counsel to join our Corporate & Legal Affairs Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal support and guidance to our global marketing and media initiatives, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support to the VP-Chief Counsel Global Marketing & Media on global marketing and media initiatives, including contract review and negotiation, risk management, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement global marketing and media strategies, including the creation of policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including global marketing, consumer experience, procurement, and digital services, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing and media initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve disputes with commercial business partners related to marketing and media, taking leadership and project management responsibility for same.
  • Identify and propose solutions for legal training needs and requirements, recommend process introductions/amendments to address new developments, and develop and deliver trainings.
  • Keep the global team, stakeholders, and CLA abreast of significant decisions, legislation, and governmental regulatory rulings that may affect the company's business or policy.

Qualifications:
  • Law degree from an accredited school and top academic credentials, and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction where the company operates.
  • 3+ years of experience in intellectual property, marketing, media law, with a strong understanding of global marketing and media initiatives.
  • Excellent management skills, business judgment, and ability to make decisions and give advice that demonstrates an understanding of overall business objectives and the risks/rewards of each situation.
  • Strong research and writing skills, leadership skills, and ability to think and work strategically.
  • Impeccable professional and personal integrity.
  • Demonstration of ability to communicate effectively with a non-legal audience.
  • Related substantive understanding and experience with social media, marketing, media, production, and commercial transactions, Gen AI, and MarTech, including substantial experience with the preparation and review of commercial contracts and project team participation and execution of deliverables.
