Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Are you a skilled automation engineer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Test Automation Engineer.

About the Role

As a Test Automation Engineer at Scotiabank, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated tests for our software applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated tests using standard test automation frameworks
  • Contribute to the manual testing process and identify areas for automation
  • Analyze and prioritize test scenarios for automation
  • Deliver high-quality automation scripts in an Agile environment
  • Continuously improve automated testing methodologies to maximize test coverage
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium-Java
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks using Cucumber, Maven, and TestNG
  • Hands-on experience in automating mobile, web-based applications, and API web services
  • Good knowledge of version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL queries
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Xray, and test management tools
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and QA processes
