Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our team at Interac Corp. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation testing frameworks to support online projects
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure a thorough understanding of product requirements
  • Develop and maintain integration automation frameworks to maximize test coverage and minimize test cycles
  • Evaluate scripts and recommend changes to ensure optimal test results
  • Enhance automation test strategy to incorporate microservices automation testing
  • Define automation metrics and processes for collecting and validating metrics
  • Develop NFR automation tests targeting interactions between services and components

Requirements

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of direct experience in software development with strong experience in software automation testing
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing automation frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in NUnit or JUnit
  • Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline
  • Strong knowledge of C# and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
  • API testing experience using POSTman or similar
  • Knowledge of web applications architecture, APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with load testing using JMeter or similar
  • Knowledge and experience with Git/Stash
  • Knowledge and experience with Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture
  • Agile team and methodology experience; Kanban experience is desirable
  • Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full-Time capacity
