Security Pre-Sales Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Pre-Sales Manager to join our team at Softchoice. As a key member of our Security Business Development team, you will be responsible for leading our North American Security Presales Specialist team and ensuring they are effective in their roles to reflect our strategic priorities and achieve our financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a team of Security Presales Specialists
- Ongoing mentoring and development of Security Presales Specialists; re-enforcing best practice across the team
- Aligning to standardized pre-sales processes and to ensure processes in place are effective
- Identifying areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal pre-sales processes with respect to sales and support teams
- Acting as a Softchoice Security brand ambassador
- Being responsible for Softchoice sales of Security products and services within the business area
- Creating/building relationships with key Security partners, especially at the national and regional level
- Collaborating with Partner Marketing & the Programs and Alliances Team to create/propose marketing plans, initiatives, incentives and campaigns to drive Security partner awareness and revenue
- Providing Security support for Softchoice sales organizations
- Planning/conducting executive and sales presentations to customers, the security partner community, and to the Softchoice sales organization
- Supporting direct reports by participating and leading in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
- Directly supporting customers as required, such as dealing with escalations and complex solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years management experience
- Must possess experience in the technology industry; sales experience preferred
- Must possess a high degree of Security product and pricing programs knowledge
- Strong MS Office required
- Strategic thinker with strong desire to develop a Team
- You exhibit strong critical thinking, innovation and leadership skills.
- Your key traits are passion, creativity, initiative, collaboration and the ability to motivate and innovate.
- You are comfortable working in a fast paced, changing environment and possess extraordinary leadership skills.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience, preferred
