A career opportunity exists for a seasoned Sales and Business Development professional to join our organization in the Northern Cape region. We are seeking an individual who can effectively drive sales activities, develop and implement business strategies, conduct market research, and build strong relationships with clients.

Job Description

  1. Overseeing Sales Activities: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales activities, ensuring that targets are met, and developing strategies to improve sales performance.
  2. Business Planning and Strategy: This role involves developing and implementing business plans, monitoring progress, and making recommendations to the management team.
  3. Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research, analyzing trends, and identifying new opportunities for business growth.
  4. Client Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Location: Must be located in the Northern Cape or willing to relocate to the region.
  2. Business Travel: This position involves intensive business travel within the Northern Cape region.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the Petroleum/Energy Sector.
  4. Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the Petroleum/Energy Sector, market trends, and the complete value chain from sales to operation & maintenance.
  5. Sales Strategies: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  6. Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, fluency in English and Afrikaans.
  7. Personal Qualities: High personal drive, independent work style, result-oriented, and open to changing environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is R30,000 - R40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
