Business Development Finance Specialist

Our team at Sanlam is seeking a skilled Business Development Finance Specialist to join our ranks. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating client details in line with product and regulatory requirements.
We are looking for an individual who can conduct thorough due diligence on clients, identifying and flagging potential risks. This includes managing and reporting on NTUs (clients Not Taken Up) by implementing controls and taking corrective actions where necessary.
A key aspect of this role is gaining insight into client risk profiles to proactively identify areas where support will be required. You will apply your knowledge of products to guide clients through policy cancellations and provide alternative options.
To remain up-to-date with compliance and quality standards, you will adhere to our rigorous guidelines and protocols.
Your responsibilities will also include identifying risks and flagging potentially fraudulent activities. You will log all activities as per regulations and standard operating procedures, providing data to relevant stakeholders to inform reporting and decision making.
In addition, you will collate data on activities to deliver on weekly and monthly reporting deadlines. We value knowledge of the Insurance landscape, including regulatory requirements and guidelines for selling and providing advice. Analytical skills and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
We offer competitive compensation packages, commensurate with industry standards. Based on market rates, we estimate a salary range of approximately £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
