Job Summary:
As a Pharmaceutical Services Specialist, you will be part of our pharmacy team committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations. You will demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while playing a key role in achieving excellence in patient centered care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, corporate pharmacy programs, and contractual requirements of continuing care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services focused on continuing care contractual obligations, including disease state management, medication reviews, and full scope of practice.
- Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services to all patients.
- Ensure prescription safety and prioritize technical functions for Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
- Provide quarterly reports to facility administration and review all medication errors.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.
- Kroll software experience is preferred.
