About the Role

This is a casual, part-time position that requires the successful candidate to work with clients in an individual, family, or group setting. The primary goal of this role is to assess client situations and determine the necessary services required to address their social and personal problems.

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing counsel and therapy to help clients resolve their issues. You will also perform administrative tasks, refer clients to relevant agencies, and maintain records of client interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree and experience working in the field of mental health. Membership in a provincial association of social workers is also required.

You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility are essential qualities for this position.
