Learning Services, Casual Instructor Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Casual Instructor Aide to provide academic support to students in various content areas. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Learning Services instructors to deliver high-quality support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or group support to students through online, drop-in, appointment-based, or workshop tutoring modes.
- Assist students with learning success skills and strategies in the online or face-to-face environment.
- Identify and share study resources with students to improve their individual learning habits.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and assist students in building their confidence, knowledge, and abilities.
- Collaborate with Learning Services instructors to meet course expectations and accommodate diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in subject-specific content areas and online tutoring.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in the last 2 years as a tutor in an online learning environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
