Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and contractors on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, audits, and training.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of our business.
- Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Provincial Health and Safety certification with valid auditor certification.
- 10+ years of practical health and safety experience, with 5-7 years in a similar role.
- Construction experience and knowledge of Certificate of Recognition (COR) certification requirements.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence others to follow safety practices and procedures.
