Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Pelican Events and Catering. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with food preparation, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including storage areas and work surfaces.
- Support the dishwashing process, including loading and unloading dishwashers.
- Restock condiments and supplies as needed.
- Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically demanding, with frequent standing and lifting.
- Repetitive tasks and attention to detail required.
