Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Elyon African Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing and serving food and beverages to our customers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies
- Handle and store cleaning products safely
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-6 months of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Fast-paced kitchen environment
