About the Role
GardaWorld is seeking a skilled Security Patrol Officer to join our team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety and security of various properties, including condominiums, commercial spaces, and malls.
As a Security Patrol Officer with GardaWorld, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, enforcing property rules and applicable laws, and responding to incidents and emergencies. You will also have opportunities to grow professionally through our comprehensive training programs and career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, observing and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents
- Enforce property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond to emergency situations, such as alarms, fires, or medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and patrol activities
Requirements:
- A valid BC security guard license
- A valid BC Class 5 driver's license
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- A clear criminal background and driving record
- Eligibility to work in Canada
