Job Description

At Insight Global, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our successful industrial group. The successful candidate will provide support to the Human Resource function, specifically in recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement. This role will involve supporting the management team on daily tasks and activities to enhance employee morale. Key focus points include meeting recruitment needs in a timely manner, improving time to hire, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.

Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment
    1. Lead the recruitment process, including weekly updates to hiring managers, job description creation, job postings, resume screening, background checks, and interview coordination.
    2. Coordinating pre-screening, scheduling, and follow-up interviews with department managers and candidates.
    3. Creating and sending job offers, including job descriptions and non-disclosure agreements.
    4. Setting up and monitoring one-week, 30-60-90-day review meetings to maximize employee engagement.
    5. Supporting the Senior Generalist in setting up and completing new hire orientations.
    6. Partnering with local colleges and skilled trade organizations to attract apprentices.
  2. Employee Engagement
    1. Assisting the Senior Generalist in coordinating employee birthday recognition, education, and wellness seminars.
    2. Partnering with the Senior Generalist to lead the Lenworth Social Committee, including company breakfasts, quarterly outings, and holiday parties.
    3. Rolling out the monthly reward program for office staff and technicians.
  3. Additional Duties
    1. Providing strategic advice on retention and recruitment strategies to the Head of Human Resources.
    2. Serving as a link between management and employees, handling questions, and resolving issues.
    3. Serving as the main point of contact for HR-related questions from employees.
    4. Supporting the Senior Generalist in setting up and administering monthly safety talks.
    5. Identifying and presenting opportunities for additional training to bridge gaps with the Senior Generalist and Department Managers.
    6. Emphasizing retention through company culture, employee engagement, and other initiatives.
    7. Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Minimum Requirements

3-5 years of previous HR and end-to-end recruitment experience

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Strong interpersonal relationship skills

High-volume recruitment and ability to lead the interview process

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or manual labor environment
