Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Magellan Aerospace Corporation is a leading global aerospace company that provides complex assemblies and systems solutions to aircraft and engine manufacturers, and defence and space agencies worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating policies and programs in all areas of human resources, including recruitment, wage and salary administration, pension administration, health and safety, employee and labour relations, pay equity, and employment equity. The ideal candidate will introduce process documents and improvements to these administrative responsibilities to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollments and terminations
  • Administer pension plans, including internal reporting and payments to carriers
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Assist with labour relations issues and statistical reports
  • Assist with budget expense information and yearly budget requirements
  • Maintain employee service award program
  • Assist with employee engagement program
  • Facilitate all security requirements, including Controlled Goods and Contract Security Programs
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in a field related to HR management, business, industrial relations, or related experience
  • Professional license/certificate is an asset
  • 5-10 years experience in the HR field
  • Strong planning, attention to detail, and organizational skills
