Human Resources Generalist

At Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR support to employees, including benefits, time off requests, policies, and records/practices.
  • Support the performance management and project implementation process.
  • Partner with the HR Manager to support the leave of absence and return to work process.
  • Prepare documentation, including Compensation Changes, RIBO Employment Confirmation Letters, and Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Organize HR communication delivery, including company-wide correspondence and policy rollout.
  • Lead the delivery and maintenance of various HR Programs, including Education Reimbursement and Health and Wellness Initiatives.
  • Support the maintenance of employee designations and licenses.
  • Conduct touch bases with new hires to ensure smooth onboarding and gather feedback.
  • Run reporting to support the collection, review, and analysis of HR data.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Working towards obtaining CHRP designation is an asset.
  • Able to run meaningful reports, collect metrics, and analyze data.
