Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, helping them to find solutions to their needs and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales support to customers, identifying their needs and providing recommendations on our products and services
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Enter sales orders and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Grow and retain established customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
- Follow up on backorders and resolve any issues related to customer orders
- Process returns and warranty claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Support Counter Sales activities and provide exceptional customer service
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or sales
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software to communicate and analyze customer data
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide profitable solutions
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Intermediate math skills
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold at the Profit Centre
- Experience using Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, and Outlook
