Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Financial Manager to join our team at Pan-Pacific Personnel Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, with experience in managing financial functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Estimated Salary: $185,000 - $220,000 per annum

This is a permanent full-time position, offering a competitive salary package and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage FP&A, accurately plan, forecast, and budget to support the company's major business decisions and long-term financial health.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and provincial legislation, rules, and regulations related to financial disclosure.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Create, review, and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve, improve, and document internal controls over safeguarding of assets, financial close, and reporting processes.
Management and Leadership

The successful candidate will provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to accounting and management teams in Canada and affiliated companies. They will also advise and be a confidant to executives and Japanese directors on Canadian laws, regulations, and accounting practices.

Requirements:
  • Japanese Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Japanese (both spoken and written) preferred.
  • Canadian Finance and Tax Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Canadian finance, tax, and employment principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relations with all members of the organization.
  • Construction/Project Accounting Experience: Experience in construction/project accounting and manufacturing environments.
