Chief Financial Officer

At Regent College, we seek a customer-oriented and relational business leader to join our team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will manage and oversee the finance and operations department, providing strategic direction and financial oversight across various departments.

The successful candidate will report directly to the President and collaborate closely with other members of the Leadership Team to drive growth, ensure compliance, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness. They will be part of the Leadership Team, which includes the President/Chief Investment Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Portfolio Manager – Private Wealth, and Senior Portfolio Manager – Public/Private Equity.

We are a Portfolio Manager, Investment Fund Manager, and Exempt Market Dealer active in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, and PEI. Key Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer will contribute to a positive team culture and uphold our standards of excellence, conduct, and principles to safeguard both the integrity and reputation of the business. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within the financial services industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills; CPA designation required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical standards and operating with integrity in all business dealings.
  • Knowledge of Biblical principles and a commitment to incorporating them into leadership and decision-making processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects and resources effectively.
  • Travel may be required.

Location and Salary

The position is located in Langley, BC. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
