About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As a member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, you will provide top-quality whole-person care to Canadian Veterans and individuals in need of mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new mental health program content for the unique needs of various client groups
  • Leveraging novel approaches to deliver mental health services, including digital therapeutics
  • Bringing unique assessment competencies to a range of applications, from pre-employment suitability assessments to diagnostic assessments
  • Delivering individual and group treatment for conditions such as anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal issues

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
  • Individual professional liability insurance required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams
