Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet food service demands.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal resource utilization.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and ensure timely delivery of food to customers.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with kitchen staff, chefs, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Initiative and dependability, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
