Food Service Manager

Nourish Bistro is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and prepared for peak periods.
- Monitor food quality and service standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our kitchen operations.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen staff are well-organized and productive.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
