Food Service Manager

Barakah Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing insights for business improvement.
- Establish work schedules and ensure effective time management to meet business needs.
- 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a physically demanding role.
