Food Service Manager

At Banff National Perk Cafe, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet business needs
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to optimize business performance
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Establish and maintain work schedules to meet business needs
