Your Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hamilton, ON. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and carriers
  • Negotiate with shippers and carriers to ensure efficient freight movement
  • Monitor and track shipments, including pickups and deliveries
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation
  • Communicate effectively with clients and carriers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Perform minor accounting functions and data entry

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone mannerisms and a positive attitude
