Carmel Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Hire food service staff and establish work schedules.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, or visible minorities.
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
