Restaurant Manager

Carmel Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and efficient kitchen operations.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing labor costs.
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
