Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at BABS AUTO SALES. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair, possess mechanical knowledge, and be familiar with power tools and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using dealership guidelines and manufacturer schematics
  • Conduct inspections and test drive vehicles to identify problems
  • Weld and fabricate parts as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs to customers in a clear manner
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in automotive repair techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Experience as a mechanic in an automotive setting
  • Familiarity with various power tools used in automotive repair
  • Capability for heavy lifting when necessary
  • Welding skills to fabricate or repair metal components
  • Ability to maintain and service vehicles effectively
  • Strong customer service skills to interact with clients professionally
  • Solid mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently

Work Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience: 5 years as an automotive technician is required. A driver's license and journeyman certification are also required.
