QualificationsEducation
  • Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in automotive body repair

Experience
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the field
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices
  • Replace and repair various body components, including doors, frames, and underbody parts
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, and sanding
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces prior to painting
  • Repair dents and defects using appropriate tools
  • Remove and replace damaged panels and parts
  • Apply primers and paint to restore vehicle surfaces
  • Repair or replace interior components and windows
  • Mix and match paint colors for repairs
  • Utilize soldering equipment and plastic fillers for repairs
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment
