{"Job Title": "Automotive Installer/Upfitter", "Job Summary": "We are seeking skilled automotive installers to join our team at Safe Fleet. As an automotive installer, you will be responsible for modifying brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles. This includes installing equipment such as wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and consoles. You will work independently, maintain accurate records, find efficiencies while respecting quality, and contribute ideas to the company.

**Responsibilities:**

* Install all equipment necessary to modify brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles
* Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles
* Read drawings, including electrical schematics with limited help

**Requirements:**

* Have experience working with automotive electrical systems
* Have experience working with automotive mechanical systems
* Have a valid driver's license
* Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Be a constructive team player and possess and exhibit a positive attitude
* Be detail-oriented and focused on quality workmanship
* Be comfortable in an exciting fast-paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Completed at least two years, preferably graduated, from a four-year trade school, vocational high school or equivalent, with courses in general shop and automotive repair
* Valid mechanic's license or ASE Automotive Technician or EVT Emergency Vehicle Technician certification
