Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at DISCOUNT TIRE & AUTO CENTRE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and diagnosing issues with all types of vehicles, providing detailed reports to our team leaders, and performing necessary repairs and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose issues with vehicles, identifying areas that require repair or maintenance
  • Provide detailed reports to team leaders, outlining the work required and any concerns or further work needed
  • Perform repairs and maintenance work on automobiles and light trucks, using specialized tools and equipment as needed
  • Test automotive systems and components to ensure optimal performance
  • Install and balance tires, removing wheel assemblies and dismounting tires as required
  • Guide and assist other team members as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure the highest level of service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components, as well as excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, providing clear and concise reports and communicating effectively with colleagues and team leaders.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
