We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Care Specialist to join our team at Wood Family. This role is perfect for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others.
About the JobThe Personal Support Care Specialist will provide high-quality personal care services to clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This includes assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medications and providing emotional support.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Administer medications as directed by clients' healthcare providers
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to supervisors
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Basic security clearance
The Personal Support Care Specialist will work in various settings, including private homes, group homes, and community facilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional development.
