Job Description

The University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Director of the Canadian National PET Centre. This is a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the advancement of cardiac imaging and research.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of physicians, imaging scientists, nurses, and technologists to ensure excellence in clinical care and research.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge research initiatives through peer-reviewed and industry-supported grants.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiac Imaging Program to advance cardiac imaging and research.
Qualifications
  • Hold FRCPC certification in Cardiology (or equivalent).
  • Have Level 3 fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology.
  • Be a member of, or be eligible to be a member of, the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
  • Be eligible to practice medicine in Ontario.
