Accounts Receivable Specialist

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team at our Kingsville Head Office Location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing daily cash deposits, processing customer payments, and ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily cash deposits and process customer payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Research and process customer short payments, discrepancies, and price adjustments
  • Process charge backs, product returns, and bad checks
  • Answer customer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Reconcile company customer accounts with corresponding data obtained from the customer
  • Assist with related special projects and audits as required
Requirements:
  • Accounting college/university graduate with a minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Office, proficient in Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV considered an asset
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Basic analytical skills required, strong math and communication skills needed
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Use of company computer and phone
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
