Our Design & Drafting Team

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Design & Drafting Team for our single-family division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our architectural designs to life, ensuring they are translated into constructible and cost-effective solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete sets of working drawings, including plot plans, to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create new construction details as requested, utilizing your expertise in architectural design and building technology.
  • Work with a diverse range of projects, including detached and semi-detached homes, townhomes, zero-lot-line homes, and traditional lots.
  • Review contract documents and customer changes, updating standard plans and effectively communicating all information to relevant parties.
  • Review architectural control guidelines to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Architectural and Building Technology Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in the home building industry, with a strong commitment to customer service and technical excellence.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad software and ability to interact with other industry professionals, associated trades, and industry authorities.
  • Understanding of local building codes, by-laws, and architectural controls.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate as part of a team while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
