About the Role

Elevated HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team as a Team Lead. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the working drawing process, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire a team of production staff, including architectural technologists with a varying degree of experience.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project requirements.
    • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
    • Monitor progress and adjust workflows as needed.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Participate with the BIM/Revit team to develop and implement BIM Standards.
    • Ensure accuracy and adherence to architectural standards in all production work.
    • Review drawings, specifications, and documentation.
    • Implement best practices for quality control.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
    • Streamline workflows and implement standardized procedures.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Communication:
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including clients, designers, engineering, and construction partners.
    • Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions effectively.
Requirements
  • A combination of post-secondary accreditation and field experience in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural production – Senior Architectural Technologist.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
