Job Summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck systems
  • Work with lead technicians and maintenance supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel truck technician or mechanic
  • Current driver's license and ability to obtain a Class DZ license within 6 months
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
