This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified sessional lecturer to coordinate the in-person laboratory experiments in the areas of inorganic and physical chemistry in CHM151Y1 (Chemistry: The Molecular Science) for the Winter 2025 semester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate labs with all attendant organizational issues of laboratory preparation and delivery.
- Supervise laboratory demonstrators.
- Manage and report student laboratory marks.
- Hold office hours.
Requirements and Qualifications
A PhD in inorganic chemistry or a closely related field is required. Experience coordinating introductory-level laboratories in inorganic chemistry and/or physical chemistry at the university level will be preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $4,728.95 - $5,285.01 per course, depending on qualifications and experience.
