Job Overview

This full-time permanent role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist in our Chemistry department, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
  • Preparing and processing samples, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
  • Performing, interpreting, and releasing results, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Identifying incidents and non-conformities, participating in corrective action plans, and driving continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • CMLTO registration and good standing.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, adhering to safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
