Master of Data Analytics Program Overview

The Master of Data Analytics (MDA) program at UNF is designed to equip students with the essential skills and expertise required to succeed in the rapidly evolving field of data analysis. Through real-world case studies, internships, and capstone projects, students gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, data exploration, warehousing, analysis, and visualization.

The program focuses on developing big data professionals who can thrive in this high-demand career. Students learn from experienced instructors and industry experts, gaining valuable insights into operations management, operations research, supply chain management, production planning, and control.

Data Analytics Instructor Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly qualified instructor to teach Operations Analytics in the Master of Data Analytics program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, preparing course materials, and providing regular office hours to meet with students. They will also design and grade assignments, tests, and exams, as well as collaborate on curriculum development to ensure course content aligns with industry standards and trends.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate/Ph.D. in operations management, operations research, industrial engineering, or a related area, along with teaching experience in these fields at the undergraduate or graduate level. Strong familiarity with optimization libraries in Python and Excel solvers is essential, as well as industry experience in operations analytics. Curriculum development experience for on-site, online, and hybrid delivery is preferred.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • A Doctorate/Ph.D. in operations management, operations research, industrial engineering, or a related area
  • Teaching experience in operations management, operations research, supply chain management, production planning, and control at the undergraduate or graduate level

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $7,200 per course, paid in installments. Additionally, UNF offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as support for work-life balance.
