About the Role

You'll be joining Kumaran Systems' Application Engineering team, a dynamic group at the heart of our digital transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in AI, successfully delivering enterprise-scale projects involving multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the development, technical planning, and integration of AI & Generative AI systems engineering development.
  • Application Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Python-based applications and software solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design architectures, and implement scalable and efficient solutions using Azure cloud services.
  • API Development: Create and maintain APIs and web services using Python frameworks.
  • Data Storage: Implement and manage data storage solutions on Azure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of coding standards, OOP principles, and design patterns. Experience in building and deploying applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Kubernetes, and Azure.
  • AI Experience: Very experienced with LLMs, their associated APIs, and development of AI-based systems. Experience with prompt engineering and common principles to manage and use prompts effectively.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Education and Certifications: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or related field. Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud Computing are an asset.
