Kumaran Systems is seeking a highly skilled Python Lead with AI expertise to join our Application Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development, technical planning, and integration of AI and Generative AI systems engineering development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Python-based applications and software solutions.
    • Create and maintain APIs and web services using Python frameworks.
  • Collaboration and Architecture
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design architectures, and implement scalable and efficient solutions using Azure cloud services.
    • Implement and manage data storage solutions on Azure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
  • Leadership and Mentoring
    • Demonstrate leadership and mentoring abilities to guide team members in AI and Python development.
    • Share expertise and knowledge to inspire outcomes and drive success.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Strong experience in designing, programming, implementing, and supporting Python development tasks for Generative AI and AI development.
    • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
    • Experience developing NLP and Data Science related assets in Python.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or related field.
    • Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud Computing are an asset.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage stakeholders up and down as well as executive level as required.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
