We are seeking a Senior Back-End Software Engineer who will play a crucial role in developing the infrastructure that supports our innovative medical data processing platform. Our application integrates smoothly with our sophisticated AI/ML systems, utilizing advanced computer vision and generative models to decode complex legal and medical documents for efficient claims processing.

This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring in-office attendance at least twice a week.


Key Responsibilities

As an essential member of the Engineering team, your duties will encompass:

  • Crafting, developing, and sustaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code that drives our back-end systems and machine learning pipeline.
  • Diagnosing and addressing performance and scalability challenges, contributing to the resilience of our system.
  • Managing intricate data structures and algorithms to ensure smooth data processing within our framework.
  • Embracing additional responsibilities as necessary, showcasing adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Producing detailed technical documentation for system components and architecture, providing clarity on architectural choices and engineering contributions across the team.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers to merge user-facing elements with server-side logic, fostering a seamless user experience.
  • Executing other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer with substantial expertise in Python, demonstrating a profound comprehension of the language.
  • Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Experience with database technologies, including SQL or NoSQL.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with automation practices throughout the Agile development, build, and deployment phases of the application lifecycle.
  • A strong problem-solving approach; comfortable navigating frequently changing work items and scopes, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
